Boarding Fees: Reservations may be made at any time. We frequently have a waiting list in the summer and during peak holiday times. If your plans change please let us as know as soon as possible so that we may accomodate a client on the waiting list. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated, especially by those waiting for an opening.
Dogs:
Charges accumulate nightly.
"Small" run (3' X 6') = $20 -- Additional dog to share = $15
"Large" run (4' X 12') = $25 -- Additional dog to share = $15
"Suites" (two large runs with an adjoining door) for two dogs = $50 Additional dog (2 total)= $15 each
Cats:
"Cat Condo" (28" X 28" X 28") = $15
Note: There may be up to two cats in one condo. The additional fee is $10 for the second cat
Only pets of the same family that get along with each other may stay together. If, while in our care, the pets are not getting along then they will be separated and fees will be changed accordingly.
Medications of any kind can be given. Medications must be brought in their original containers. Please keep medications in a separate bag with written instructions.
Oral medications and/or injections are $4 per day.
Proof of current vaccinations is required for all boarders PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.
This includes the new Canine Influenza vaccine* (H3N8), an injectable Bordetella vaccine within the last 12 months (or nasal within 6 months), as well as current Rabies and Distemper vaccinations. For your convenience, you may fax the records to us at 719-488-2551.
*The Canine Influenza vaccine became available in Summer 2009. Because it is a new vaccine a booster is required three to four weeks after the initial vaccine. After the two dose series it is then an annual vaccine.
Drop-off and Pick-up: Pets may be dropped off and picked up between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and between 8:00am and 12:00pm Saturday.
After-hours pickup: Pets may be picked up on Saturdays and Sundays (holiday hours may vary) between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm if arranged ahead of time and boarding charges are PREPAID. There is an after-hours pick-up fee of $10.00.
The Pet Lodge provides Hills Science Diet food for our feline boarders and Science Diet Sensitive Stomach for our canine boarders. If you would like to supply your own food for your companion, it must be in a labeled, re-sealable container (e.g., Tupperware or individual zip-lock bags) with the pet's name, owner's last name and feeding instructions.
Dogs are provided with blankets each night. If you would like to bring your own completely washable bedding for your companion, or a crate for smaller dogs, it must be labeled with your companion's name and your last name in permanent marker.
Treats and toys are welcome to make your pet feel more comfortable.
All dogs and cats are exercised twice a day, weather permitting (dogs are exercised in our outdoor runs).
Grooming Department: Grooming may be available; please check and make your pet's grooming appointment in advance. All grooming appointments are made with the groomer.
