Veterinarians

Dr. Kirsten Huston - Practice Owner
Dr. Kirsten Huston purchased Woodmoor Veterinary Hospital in May 2007. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington State University in 1997. After practicing in Washington State for 10 years, Dr. Huston and her kids decided to move to beautiful Colorado. She believes in practicing the best medicine and creating an environment in which her clients and staff feel comfortable and appreciated. Dr. Huston especially enjoys getting to know her patients and their human families.
When not at the hospital, Dr. Huston likes camping, traveling, reading, and spending time with her four children, three dogs, and cats. She is never one to miss out on a good laugh and has worked to create a fun, friendly atmosphere at the hospital.

Dr. Lianne Baker
Dr. Lianne Baker has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1997. She attended the University of Virginia and graduated with Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology and Chemistry and graduated with Distinction. She then attended Ontario College, University of Guelph in Canada and graduated with Distinction from the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program where she achieved the Dean’s List Honors each semester.
Dr. Baker and her husband, Brad, spend the majority of their free time raising their two young daughters. They enjoy hiking and Dr. Baker also competes in mountain biking events. At the clinic she is the sweetest person you'll ever meet and loves to educate her clients.

Dr. Ivy Rohlwing
Dr. Ivy Rohlwing grew up in Iowa, eventually turning her childhood hobby of bringing home wounded animals into a career. She received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine both at Iowa State University. She enjoys working with both pets and their owners throughout all stages of a pet's life. Dr. Ivy moved to Colorado with her husband in 2015, and spends her free time hiking, biking, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She looks forward to meeting you and the furry members of your family. |
Technical Staff

Alida, VT - Lead Technician
Alida has been in the veterinary field for more than two decades now - working with large domestics to reptiles and avian, if you can name it she probably has cared for it. Alida spent most of her career in the Bay Area of California, where she was a docent at the Oakland Zoo, and moved here with her family in 2016.
In her free time she loves to go off-roading and kayaking with her husband and two daughters. Care and comfort is her focus, with a happy, healthy pet as her end goal. She really found a home here at Woodmoor Veterinary Hospital and she can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends!
Mackenzie, CVT
Mackenzie is a CVT who graduated from vet tech school in 2019. Her love for animals started early in life through watching nature documentaries and helping out on her family’s ranch. Her favorite activities include enjoying video games, snuggling with her cat, and taking walks in nice weather.

Eryn, CVT Eryn relocated to Colorado from the Space Coast of Florida to be closer to family and pursue an education in veterinary medicine. She is no stranger to snow being born and raised in Minnesota. Recently graduated from the Colorado Academy of Veterinary Technology’s with an associate’s degree, Eryn graduated top of her class. In her free time Eryn enjoys fishing, spending time with her furry babies, and exploring the Tri-Lakes area, but her greatest passion in life is the health and well-being of every animal she meets. |

MaryBeth, VT
MaryBeth was born and raised in Colorado Springs, she has always had a passion for science and a love for animals. She pursued a career in veterinary medicine by earning her bachelor's in biology at CSU, followed by practicing as a technician the week after graduation. Currently, she is earning her CVT title through Penn Foster and she has future passions in specializing in anesthesiology. She loves camping, skiing, and snuggling her puppy Pepper.

Diana, VA/ Lead Kennel Tech
Diana is originally from Lares, Puerto Rico. She has 3 cats at home and enjoys drawing and painting in her free time. Diana is a great addition to our team. She has moved to Veterinary Assistant in our practice and is doing amazing! She loves on every pet that comes in!
Client Care Specialists

Shelly, CCS - Front Office Manager
Shelly has been in Colorado since 2001. Much of her free time is spent lovingly caring for her horses, four dogs and assorted cats. Besides caring for all her critters, Shelly has also been known to help care for her neighbor’s animals! Dedicated to Woodmoor since 2004, she enjoys horseback riding, rodeos and shoe shopping. Shelly is also an active member of the Kit Carson Riding Club, too!
As an animal lover she had always wanted to work at a veterinary hospital. Her favorite part of the job is loving on all of the animals while they wait for their visits. Shelly is the friendly face at our front desk that everyone knows and we are so pleased to have her with us.

Kenzie, CCS
Kenzie joined the Woodmoor family August of 2018. She loves hiking with her dogs, sleeping and coloring! She has 3 dogs at home-Britta, Emma, and Jenny and her kitty Loki. Fun fact about Kenzie is she has brown freckles in her eyes. We are blessed to have Kenzie as part of our team.
Kayla, CCS Kayla has been a part of the Woodmoor team since April 2019. She was born in Arizona and enjoyed playing soccer in college. She, her husband, and their two fur babies (Opie and Willow) moved to Colorado Springs in February 2019. Kayla is passionate about helping every animal that comes through our doors. When she is not at work, she enjoys spinning/indoor cycling. |
