Alida Swafford, Veterinary Assistant

My name is Alida Swafford and I’ve been in the veterinary field for more than two decades now – from large domestics to reptiles and avians, if you can name it I’ve probably cared for it. I spent most of my career in the Bay Area of California, where I was a docent at the Oakland Zoo, and moved here with my family in 2016. In my free time I love to go off-roading and kayaking with my husband and two daughters. Care and comfort is my focus, with a happy, healthy pet as my end goal. I’ve really found a home here at Woodmoor Veterinary Hospital and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends!!
