Alida has been in the veterinary field for more than two decades now - working with large domestics to reptiles and avians, if you can name it she probably has cared for it. Alida spent most of her career in the Bay Area of California, where she was a docent at the Oakland Zoo, and moved here with her family in 2016.

​In her free time, she loves to go off-roading and kayaking with her husband and two daughters. Care and comfort are her focus, with a happy, healthy pet as her end goal. She really found a home here at Woodmoor Veterinary Hospital and she can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends!
